We
are intrigued by fables and mythic tales as well as mainstream novels. The
important thing is that the narrative be compelling and the characters be
full of surprises whether pleasant or unpleasant. Send at least 1-2 chapters
or stories. A brief synopsis is also required although it need not be perfect
or definitive – just an idea of where you’re headed and some
of the main events along the way. No genre fiction please unless it’s
a hell of a good mystery or a really good piece of character driven science
fiction. We believe literary fiction and commercial fiction are not mutually
exclusive. What’s important is a strong and distinctive narrative
voice. If your novel is dark and intense or lyrical and whimsical, or if
you have a fresh collection of stories, please send them.
